Bush began his career with the Bengals as a first-round pick out of the University of Washington, then returned to Seattle in a 1983 trade, spending the next six seasons with the Seahawks. Over those six seasons, Bush would start 78 games, helping the Seahawks reach the postseason for the first time in 1983, then return in 1984, 1987 and 1988.
