Ballard signed with the Seahawks as a free agent in 1994 after establishing himself as a Pro-Bowl tackle with the Bills, and he would go on to start 74 games at right tackle for the Seahawks over five seasons. Known as “House” for his size and sturdy play, the 6-foot-6, 325-pound Ballard was voted to the Seahawks’ 35th Anniversary Team.
