J.R. Sweezy, a defensive tackle at N.C. State, was drafted in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seahawks and was converted into a guard to start his professional career. The move to the other side of the ball proved to be the right decision as Sweezy ended up starting 64 games for Seattle, including all 15 games played during the team’s championship run in 2013. He left the Seahawks for Tampa Bay after four seasons with the team, but injuries sidelined him for the entirety of the 2016 season. After starting 14 games for the Buccaneers in 2017, Sweezy returned to Seattle for the 2018 season where he started all 15 games played.
