A prolific tackler, Brooks joined the Seahawks as a first-round pick in 2020 and went on to pile up 512 tackles over four seasons, including a team-record 183 in 2021, his first full season as starter, a record later matched by Bobby Wagner. Brooks and Wagner also share the team record for tackles in a game with 20. Perhaps the most impressive part of Brooks’ four seasons in Seattle was the way he came back from a torn ACL late in the 2022 season to be ready for Week 1 in 2023, a season in which he recorded 111 tackles, eight tackles for loss and a career-best 4.5 sacks.
