A second-round pick in 2014, Britt moved around early in his career, playing right tackle as a rookie for a team that advanced to a second consecutive Super Bowl, then moving to left guard in 2015. Britt really found his home in 2016 when he moved to center, the position he would play for the next six seasons, four with the Seahawks and two with the Houston Texans.

During his six seasons with the Seahawks, Britt started 86 of 87 games played including all but two games during his first five seasons.
