Keith Simpson played the entirety of his eight-year NFL career in Seattle after being selected with the ninth pick of the 1978 NFL Draft. Simpson showcased his versatility over the course of his career as he played both cornerback and safety in the early Seattle defenses. In eight seasons, the Memphis native registered 19 interceptions, 10 sacks and seven fumble recoveries. His three career interceptions returned for a touchdown rank second in franchise history, trailing only Dave Brown.
