Coming from the University of Washington, Jackson was able to stay close to home when he was drafted in the the third-round of the 1979 NFL Draft. Jackson played his entire career with the Seahawks, playing 105 games, with six interceptions and seven sacks. He led the team in tackles from 1980-1982.
