Mare spent three of his 16-year NFL career with Seattle towards the end of his career. In 2009, Mare was a captain. Mare’s franchise record of five made field goals in a game was tied in 2023 by Seahawks kicker Jason Myers. Mare is also one of two Seahawks kickers to make five field goals in a game twice in one season.
