Affectionately known as “Big Red,” Bryant went from little used backup interior lineman to key piece of a Super Bowl winning defense after Pete Carroll and then defensive line coach Dan Quinn turned him into an oversized defensive end in 2010. After that move, Bryant started 54 games over the next three seasons, giving the Seahawks a physical, run-stuffer on the edge as they built the NFL’s best defense on their way to a title. Bryant, whose father in law is Seahawks Legend and Ring of Honor member Jacob Green, was a two-time team captain and the 2011 winner of the Steve Largent Award.
