Kicker Todd Peterson joined the Seahawks before the 1995 season after playing his rookie year with the Cardinals. In his five seasons with Seattle, Peterson made 126 field goals on 154 attempts. His best season in the NFL came in 1999 when he made a career high 85% of his field goals on 40 attempts. His 34 made field goals that season remain tied for the second most in a season in franchise history.  He played his last season in the league with Atlanta in 2005.
