Williams was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 1993 NFL Draft and spent four seasons there. In February 1997, Seattle signed the free agent where he became the starting right cornerback. He led the Seahawks in interceptions for two consecutive seasons (2000-2001), snagging four each year. Over his time in Seattle, Williams amassed 51 passes defensed, 17 interceptions, and returned three interceptions for touchdowns, second-most in franchise history. Williams then returned to Pittsburgh for the final two seasons of his career. He made two Super Bowl appearances with the Steelers, winning Super Bowl XL against Seattle, and retired in 2006.
